Making Peaches & Cream

When we're working on the creation of a new flower arrangement, often the flowers do all the work for us. But we always keep an eye open for inspiration in the world, and we're feeling lucky we're in Denver, with so many cool creative people workin' hard for it. We're totally in love with the moodboards from our friends at ENLY and we recently partnered with Lyndse (the LY half of the Denver-based event design team) to create our newest hand-tied wrap, the Peaches & Cream, based on this excellent Mid Mod moodboard:

Classic 60s color palette. We're in love with the peach and the punch of dark green. And that dusty blue chair! Heaven. Also, note to self: we must do a cactus trio for Flower Bombers.

Given the classic color palette, we wanted to do classic flowers: roses, tulips. One perfect gerbera daisy perfectly captures that Sixties "Pop" vibe: it's such a big, bold, polka dot of color. The dusty kochia (a variety of sage) and the gunni eucalyptus capture the feel of that chair, plus a little bit of ruscus to bring in the darker, glossier green. Bam: a beautiful flower arrangement that reflects a classic idea, but still feels fresh. We love it! And did we mention it's only $35 delivered in Denver Metro? Get on it.
