Make + Believe. That's the message that drew a packed house in attendance on Saturday, June 25th at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House in downtown Denver to hear over a dozen speakers on a range of inspiring and creative topics.
From Space Mining to the global water sanitation crisis here on Earth, from Sexting to Practical Futurism (by our friend Taylor Romero over at Spruce), attendees were challenged and inspired to think creatively and with purpose. Outside, the beautiful weather was perfect for the Experience portion of the event, held in the complex courtyard and sculpture garden. Exhibitors set up interactive displays, art works, and other engaging moments of inspiration (one of our faves: Pawsthetics, making 3D printed prosthetics for animals!). Check out some of our photos below.
In addition to sharing hundreds of flowers with our new friends outside, we worked with the leadership of TEDx to provide a thank you bouquet of beautiful flowers – roses, delphinium, and sunflowers, as shown below – for every speaker at the event. You can get our Summer Field while it's still available to order for only 50 bucks!
Such a great Denver day. Inspiring messages, new friends, food trucks, beautiful weather and beautiful flowers: it just doesn't get much better than that. Can't wait for the next event, TEDxMileHigh Women, coming this Fall!
